Metro PCS Question

Whose network do they use? For some reason I thought they used the Sprint Network but when I put in my zip code on their website it says "Future Coverage", but Sprint has coverage here already.

I googled it and it just said it used a pcs network.

Metro PCS has their own network. If you're in the future coverage, it's possible they're live there now, just not officially.

Lostinohio, it appears that MetroPCS uses the Sprint network for the "extended home area" (see my recent post). However, the original network is still in place, in addition to the Sprint Network. The change was made in earlier Nov (Nov 3). MetroPCS went public with the change yesterday.

MetroPCS also uses US cellular in the Midwest in cities from Chicago through Kansas.
