😁 this site is very informative i was wondering if there is some sort of pocket pc phone metro has that is not flip i need something with like a keyboard instead of that kyocera one..the only problem i see with metro is that there phone selection really is not the best...i am currently with att and there plans are getting worde by the minute in my opinion so me and my hubby are thinking of metro because of all its benefits...so we are looking at the 45 dollar family plan...is it going to be 45 plus 10 dollars for the extra line a month because it says it gives you a 10 dollar discount so am not sure....i would like to switch sometime this month so any input will help

Metro offers pretty basic phones except for the Kyocera e2000, the SLVR, Samsung U520(i have that phone), and the Motorola Z3, but they are all flip or most of them, a phone that would be good for u is the Samsung R410, its a candy bar phone but it has a keyboard that slides out. it has a basic camera and screen but i think it will be something u like because it has a full keyboard that you can slide out. otherwise it has your basic features, like a basic camera, bluetooth, ect. try it out.

If you sign up for metro, you can try the phone out and if you have less than one hour of talk time recorded on the phone(they check this by going deep into the menu) and you dont like the phone, they will refund it no questions asked.

the 45 ...

here's an example: you get the 45 dollar plan, and the person you add on gets the 45 plan as well, the second person gets a 10 dollar discount so its really ur paying 80 plus any tax in your area, b/c that would be ur 45 plus the 35 the other person is paying. That is my sister and I case, she pays the 45 and i got added on and i pay 35 but i actually pay more than that b/c of insurance. i dont know how much taxes would be in Georgia, but i would estimate for two people u are paying around 85 dollars.

The only qwerty key pad phone is samsung R410, it is a decent phone but nothing spectacular in my opinion. It doesn't have mp3 player, and you can't set favorite ringtone, no bells and whisles, no mapquest besides screen is kind a small for a Samsung. The $45 plan is the best, don't get $50 plan, the push email is not worh paying for cause you can't read whole email, they are all truncated! Just log in your gmail or hotmail through mobile website which $45 plan included, you can read whole emails bigger letters.
I think the best phone from Metropcs right now is Moto Rokr z6m, excellent signal and full features, browser, mms, video, 2meg cam, mp3, set fav ringtones, mapquest support, google map and gmail, good battery, slider, etc.
