MetroPCS and tethering laptops in the SF area

Hi,

Now that MPCS seems to have pretty good coverage for web access in SFBay, it's time to move to the next frontier - the offering of real data services to laptop users.

Now that MPCS has all this money from going public, is this ever going to happen?

As one knowledgeable (somewhat) in the relative freedoms of GSM, I hate that Metro hobbled my 6265i so I can't bond for data with my laptop over Bluetooth. Thanks guys!

What is the problem? Did MPCS cheap out on their tower contracts? Do they not care about getting more revenue from us data folks? As a fairly innovative carrier with lots of cash, why are they so restrictive in their data policies, and what would have to happen for them to consider opening their data policie...
