Well I've had some experiences with virgin Mobile. Their customer service is good and their rates is one of the best out in the prepaid industry. But one thing lagging is their network quality. Virgin mobile works on sprint network. I have had nothing but bad experiences with sprint. If I were you I would go in the Sprint forum and ask hows coverage in your area. Someone may live in your area and responed. Even though there not the same company, they have the same network. In the Atlanta area they are not good. But it's always better to go of your own experiences. Because sprint may work better in your area than in my area. Hopes this helps you.

i had no service in my area at all (northeastern pa) so my experience wasn't good i didn't get one bar in a 20 mile radius of my house

dang dude that sucks. i'm planning on switching from virgin mobile to t-mobile regular national plan soon because t-mobile has a bigger coverage area for california than sprint does. Also, T-Mobile is cheaper for their prepaid than Virgin in the long run as long as you don't usually talk for longer than 10 minutes in a day like I normally don't.
