Arguing? Nah. Just venturing an opinion, and getting yelled at for it for some strange reason. Ah well. Confused

Btw, far as that Minute2Minute plan goes... well, its only 10 cents a minute after you've already paid for 10 minutes in a day at 25 cents a minute. Not the best rate, really.

Day2Day is a bit better for ppl who use their phones regularly, still not great though, because you have to pay $10.50/month to get the 10 cents a minute rate... which means its not really a 10 cents a minute rate, after all.

Month2Month is a new thing by Virgin. And its good for some ppl, but also has some pretty major restrictions compared to something like T-Mobile To Go.

For instance, it divides your minutes up into Anytime minutes and Night& Weekend minutes... you can run out of one set of minutes before using up the other and be forced to move up to the next 'level' for $10 more if you want to make calls at a certain time of day. T-M To Go doesn't do that... all the minutes are Anytime.

Also Month2Month has a 'floor' of $30/month. TM To Go's floor is $8/month if you buy the big cards.

I will say that Month2Month does do a good job of keeping big talkers from completely reaming themselves with huge charges, compared to the days when Virgin had Minute2Minute only. It is also very good for people who talk a lot during nights and weekends. Still, if I was still in the prepay game, I'd want something a bit simpler and more flexible, with a lower minimum.

Basically, it all comes down to 'gotchas'... every prepay service has them. Net10 will give you 10 cents a minute, no hidden fees... but their minutes expire quickly, so it really only makes sense if you use 300 minutes a month or more. T-M To Go is a great deal, but only if you buy cards in $50 or $100 amounts. And the Virgin plans all have their strengths and weaknesses. All told though, I'd take TM2G's 'gotcha' over the others. Your mileage may vary.
