Replying to: Virgin Mobile Is The WORST Company I've Ever Dealt With by cecenichole
I've been with Virgin Mobile and since the beginning i've had nothing but issues. First when I signed up, when I registered my Debit Card so i could top up from my phone, I clicked the box requesting that they not charge that card unless I authorized them to. Lo And Behold, they went ahead and charged it anyway. Everytime I have to call in, the service is deplorable which is why i prefer to go online to proceed. My reasoning behind them being the worst company i've dealt with...and i've had a few is that in November I purchased straight from THEIR website a Rumor 2. It's had it's issues on and off, resetting itself, missing messages, not allowing me to see mms messages, but the issue has progressed to the point where when I tried to read texts, they were coming up under the completely wrong name, freezing, and I was getting an annoying error message when i tried to send mms. So 2 fridays ago I called and was told they would launch an investigation and to call back in 48hrs. I called back in 72 and the issue was still happening. It was Last Monday. So I called back again and they did more bs tsing, and then agreed to send me my replacement phone as mine was under warranty. I'd had it less than 5 months. I was told that I would receive it that Friday and I even made sure to give my house number so they could call for any issues. Friday rolls around no phone. I had to reactivate an older phone just so i could talk to anyone. So I call in and find out that there was an issue with my address (which they didn't bother calling about even though they acknowledged my house # was there) and that they would reorder the phone for me and it would be here tuesday. Wednesday rolls around still no phone. So I call in and by this time i'm BEYOND pissed the hell off so i go off about 3 agents and finally they say they will ship my phone. I got it today as they finally shipped it overnight. NOW, they can not swap it onto my account, and i've had to call back in 2 times today to find that out. The first agent i spoke to was VERY rude and hung up when i asked for a supervisor and i've been told that i have to wait again until they launch their investigation and to call back in on MONDAY!!! Oh and in all of this i've been offered 30 bonus mins for my inconvenience. Their customer service is atrocious and i used to recommend Virgin to people but NEVER again!!!
I had some maddening issues when porting my parents over to Virgin from Sprint. But I just ported over from Verizon, and I've gotta say, they really put some work into their customer service and website. Everything is MUCH smoother now.
