this is so baised
now, i use vm, but i barely use it, so it's a good deal for me. first off, you say buy a $100 card for tmtg, but $20 for virgin? what gives u that idea that they are equal. if you use a $100 card for tmtg, use 2 $50 for virgin to make it even. duh
It wouldn't matter if you bought a $50 or $100 card for Virgin, because Virgin doesn't give you a break for doing so. You still pay the same 25 cents per minute for the 1st 10 minutes, 10 cents a minute after that. But T-Mobile DOES give you a break if you buy the bigger cards, which is the point. Duh yourself.
so, if you have a glove box phone, $80 with vm is a LOT, i mean a LOT, cheaper than tmtg's $100 a year.
No, not really. Going glovebox special with Virgin, you pay $6.67 a month ($20 every 3 months minimum). With TM 2 Go, you pay $100/yr, which comes to $8.33 a month. So going glovebox special with VM is only $1.66 a month cheaper... about the price of a bag of chips.
and, i know this wasn't available when you posted this, but they now have a 35 cents per day for 10 cents a minute deal. they made a better deal for ppl who talk a lot
For ppl over 200 minutes, that is a better deal than what Virgin Mobile was offering before. I'm glad they listened to me.
But its still not all that great, since you have to pay 35 cents a day, every day, to get the better rate. In other words, you gotta pay an additional $10.50 a month to get the 10 cents a minute rate. With T-Mobile to Go, if you buy a big card, you just pay 10 cents a minute... period.
Like they say in the 'Poser Mobile' commericals... BAM! Fees bro.
