virgin uses sprints towers. that's it. not affiliated with them in their plans and offerings. and sprint has had 7PM nights for a long time. for extra money that is. virgin people should be more concerned with what will happen now that virgin has sold it to another company.
sprint as of sunday i believe now includes nights and weekends @ 7pm for no charge. ALL other carriers should now consider thinking about this as cingulars $14 dollars a month is looking a bit high to most of us.

MVNO in essence means that they borrow network space and services from a main carrier and then resell it (prepaid or postpaid) to the consumer... what one does usually doesn't not mean the other will do.. both are independent and inter-relate only so far as financials (compensations and payments for fees rendered via contract)
