Coverage map misleading

I became a new subscriber to Sprint for about 17 hours. Reason for subscribing and porting two lines from another carrier (with the potential to port two more) was that the advertised Share Plan is pretty cost effective, AND the Sprint coverage map showed "best" for voice and data at my address. Alas, it was not to be. I couldn't get a decent voice connection (came and went, and the person on the other end of a test call said my voice was garbled) and there was no data connection. After a frustrating call to tech support, I was referred to advanced tech support where together we tried mightily to correct the problem (two lines, two Samsung Galaxy S5's). In the end, nothing worked, and it looks like the locations of Sprint or even CDMA roam...

Hi, my name is User XYZ and I had a terrible experience with Carrier X. They screwed up my bill, their network dropped my calls, and their support team was worse than any I've ever dealt with.

Trust me - I'm certainly not a spammer working for a competitor or a 15-year-old kid who thinks name branding is everything. I've been a Phonescoop member three days now, and you can contact me at abc123@hotmail.com if you want more valuable info about how rotten carrier X is. I think my credentials speak for themselves.

By the way, in a side-by-side comparison test, my new carrier beats Carrier X in every category.

I am also not a spammer, but a real honest to goodness consumer. I've actually been referring to PhoneScoop since 1999. I've used it as a good reference for phones and carriers. I joined phonescoop as a member for the first time today just so I could contribute to the forum. And where's Waldo? In Ohio.

I can do a hundred one-armed pushups in under two minutes, and I'm really being honest, too. After all, can you prove otherwise?

What should they have done for you since you already ported back out? Lose money on a charge that you knew about going in? The terms and conditions don't state that restocking fee is waived if you are not satisfied. Don't be ridiculous. There is no incentive to do a favor for non-customers. Don't spew that line of crap about bad mouthing them for the future, because you already made up your mind about that company regardless of whether or not you were exempt from the fees.

The worst part -- nobody knows whether any of the horror stories posted on this forum are even true. It's too easy to hide behind an anonymous username and fabricate a negative experience. I, for one, am sick and tired of ...

His/her post is about as bad as someone posting "Should I switch to carrier X?' Sheesh. I missed the days when the forums on here were informational, and not fanboyism. If you think Verizon or Sprint or whoever sucks, thats great, you are entitled to your opinion, but you aren't helping anyone with posting your dumb story with a thousand variables that wouldnt necessarily apply to someone else.
