Good Morning Everyone,

I am thinking of switching from Verizon to Sprint.

I had a mobile business when using Verizon, that is why I went with them. I really needed very dependable service.

Now I am stationary with a shop instead, and would love to cut my bill in half.

So Sprint is offering to pay end of contract fees if you sign up and get the iPhone6. Your plan will be $50 a month and that is unlimited talk, text and data.....

Can I have anyone's input that lives near my area or not. But was hoping to get some people to chime back that live in my area.

Thank you in advance.

Sorry, I can't vouch for Sprint coverage in your locale, but I can say that it might be worth a little of your time to go online, open one browser window to Verizon and one to Sprint, and see how close (or different) the monthly cost is for closely-comparable plans. Spouse & I are both self-employed, so as you mentioned in your post, our mobile phones need to be extremely reliable, because they are our business lines as well. RIght now, Sprint network is not great in our area, and also our current Sprint plans are no competitive. So I was looking around just last week, and I was surprised to find that, at least in the cheapest plans (unlimited talk & messaging, 1 GB of data), Verizon was withi

If you are unable to vouch for Sprint's coverage in his area, then why did you respond? In addition, your comparing your potential savings as a current customer versus his, and there is none. New customers who switch to Sprint would save a lot more, plus get a larger bucket of data.

Cburnett, if you want to know how Sprint works, do the free trial and see for yourself. Most folks on here only want to vent their frustrations about whatever carrier they had and didn't like.

You're way out of line. I merely told the OP that when I went online to compare, I was surprised to see that for the plan I mentioned, Sprint & Verizon were very similar. OP already stated he/she went with VZ because...

OP already stated he/she went with VZ because it was the most reliable in his/her area, the only problem being VZ's higher price. I merely pointed out that in some cases, VZ & Sprint pricing is similar. No rational person could complain about that.

...And in zero cases is that true for a new customer. So, other than supplying useless info to the OP and answering none of his questions, how did your post help him?

Cburnett, if you're reading these posts, watch out for brand-new forum members who supposedly live near you who p...

Again, gloop, you've failed to understand what's been said, and you're running amok casting aspersions. Sigh...if only you could read & comprehend as well as you can jump to erroneous conclusions & hurl insults.

Say, how about the latest quarterly results from Sprint? I guess if it's their goal to win the race to the bottom, there's just no stopping them. 🤣

I'm disappointed. You waited several days to respond to my post, and that was it? Your answer to my questions was to divert attention to Sprint's financial report?

Here's what I would've said if I were you:

"The reason for mentioning MY plan pricing was to point out that once the OP switches to Sprint, his cost of sw...

Here's what I would've said if I were you:

"The reason for mentioning MY plan pricing was to point out that once the OP switches to Sprint, his cost of switching back might be lower than whatever deal he's eligible for now. There's also the consideration of hidden fees that the OP might be obligated to pay. If we add all of this up, plus the cost of buying a compatible, new phone, he may or may not come out money ahead."

The argument above is far from bulletproof, but it's far more logical than your deflection tactic. Of course, I, i
