Last week another letter from Sprint notifying Nextel subs that beginning April 01, 2013 all iDEN phones will be charged a penalty of $20/line/month, thus doubling the original Nextel/iDEN penalty of $10/line/mo that began on January 1st.

Also, if the remaining Nextel & PowerSource lines are not switched over BEFORE the June 30 service cutoff, those customers will lose their Nextel and/or PowerSource phone numbers for good.

I could live with the original $10/line/mo, but $20 per line has finally done the trick for me. I'll have to stop by the local Sprint & ATT stores and do a serious cmparison.
