Are most people satisfied with the Sprint Network or not?

26 days ago, I activated a cheap Samsung Transform on Ting (which uses Sprint's network - MVNO) to see if the service quality was going to be acceptable.

My analysis: YES!

I'll be dumping Verizon soon and moving the rest of my account over to Ting as quickly as I can get my hands on enough Ting-approved Sprint hand-me-down phones to make it work.

As always, your mileage WILL vary. I don't need 4G, so my test phone lacks WiMax and I can't comment on that- because I don't care.

I had three particular areas where I spend a lot of time where Verizon could never get a signal out. All of those areas have full coverage under the Sprint network, and I have not identified any new problem areas at all.

Wireless networks all have their own fingerprints and Sprint will have problems in some communities just like Verizon has problem spots in my area.

If you really want to know, cough up $100 for a cheap Ting phone like I did and test drive the network for a month. There's no other reasonable way to get the data that matters in your area.
