Service restoration following Sandy
Can anyone explain how it is that Sprint's wireless operations fared so badly in NYC compared to the competition in the wake of tropical storm Sandy? Sprint keeps touting how great their state-of-the-art equipment is, how it is smaller and more flexible and uses so much less power than the competition's older equipment, as a result of the "Network Vision" thing, yet Sprint's wireless network did by far the worst in the NYC area, and is still the farthest behind in restoring wireless services there. What happened?
