Re: THREE DAY Nationwide Outage for Sprint Direct Connect
Never shall there be one truthful word about Sprint that happens to be negative that will go unanswered, nay, unavenged, by The Gloopster, the great trolling Defender of Sprint!
Actually, I don't think Verizon is going to listen to you, but this is a free country, so you can suggest anything you want to them.
Of course, the main issue in the several threads for which I posted links, was Sprint's poor performance in terms of customer service, i.e. the textbook-bad way that Sprint failed to step up to the plate, admit the issue clearly, and keep customers informed as to when the service would be restored. THAT was the point of the many, many, many dissatisfied customers who took the time to post their discontent about Sprint's CDMA PTT outage.
Now, an intelligent, logical person will also examine the SEVEN YEAR history of Sprint's so-far-FAILED efforts to replace iDEN-based PTT with CMDA-emulator-based PTT. Not just the recent 3-day outage, but a full SEVEN YEARS OF FAILED ATTEMPTS to replace iDEN-based PTT with an equal-performing, equally-reliable replacement. To date, not a single company (not Sprint, not Verizon, not ATT) has come close. THAT is what the Sprint executives should be noticing after SEVEN YEARS of staring it in the face.
