If you order a 3G only smartphone via most any website the extra monthly $10 fee is tacked on.
But if I go through a employee discount website (Bluefishwireless.net) I can uncheck the $10 add on, making Sprint a very attractive carrier.

So if I ordered a 3G only smartphone without the $10 add on, would data still work, would the $10 get added on without my knowing, etc? ๐Ÿ˜•
The plan says it comes with "Sprint data essentials pack". Is that some kind of limited data pack that wouldn't allow me full use of a 3G only smartphone?

I have worked on consumer, employee, 3rd party employee, and referral accounts, they all require it, no way around it.

What will happen is when you call in to activate your new phone the system absolutely requires us to add that code in. I can't imagine the amount of unhappy customers that site has caused.

We don't have an option to get around it. The site might create your tentative account without the $10.00 fee, but when it's time to activate that line, the system will require the charge.

Still comes up with the $10 data premium. As well as the plan itself is more expensive, $60 vs. $52.
Thanks though.
