1) I shared the link to a current article highlighted in an online telecom-industry newsletter I receive.

2) You posted a response, citing a different article, yet still related in that it was discussing telecom-industry CEOs.

3) My response to your posting was to point out additional information contained within your article, along with an additional supporting link .

So my response to your response was no more "afterthought" than YOUR first response to my original posting was an "afterthought".
