You've got that right. I had failed to notice; it's just one of those gotcha's. Disappointing

That's good news; did they require a contract extension of any type?

While you are probably correct, that your contract plan didn't change, when I called, the c/s rep didn't mention the 2 yr thing, so I asked, if there was a change; she casually answered that two years was required. I declined at present anyway. I tried another c/s rep later, and she tried to enter it without a contract change, and said the computer kicked it out. Could you possibly check with c/s to verify no change was made?

The only way to get aroung from renewing is if you are already currently on a 2yr. The code for 7pm is programmed to work only if the acct is on a 2yr. If you are not, you must renew otherwise it will get an error message. If your are already on one, it could just be added without renewal. I would also check to make sure no contract renewal was made.

The 7 for 7 is available on any rate plan as long as the rate plan includes nights and weekends(many older plans do not, they would have to switch to a current plan) and they must renew for 2yrs. Depending on the market, the 7pm nights and weekends may be $5 or $7 per month.
