Correction.... You have to port your number over within 72 hours of activation and have the port in credit requested within 72 hours of activation.... however if you port over your number and dont like it within 14 days you can port back to your carrier and keep the number... and indirect retailers can offer the port in credit ( prefered sprint stores and corp stores) best buy, radio shack, wal-mart and target cannot, but it doesn't have to be a sprint corp store.
