E-mail contact for current customer

by BenRaines    Jun 23, 2011, 7:40 AM

Is there an E-mail contact for customer support... I tried calling, but couldn't get my story to sound right... Thought, if I could just put everything down in an email...

My Rant
I recently move down from Ohio to WV.

I had a 614 area code on my cell phone.

Eventually I came up with the idea of getting a virtual phone number with a 304 area code.

Now, how was I to switch them.

I borrowed a phone from a friend and started up a new account, and had my 304 phone number ported in. This went with no problems.

I than switched the phone numbers for the two phone, so my 304 number was on my EVO.

After a couple weeks, of thinking about it. I decided to cancel my other phone that now had the 614 number. I did this by having it ported over to a virtual website.

This all went down, with no issues.

Now I have come to find out, that I did not understand how my contract was.

So this month instead of getting a $100.00 bill. I got a $320.00 one.

I have a $120.00 ETF fee $100.00 in other usage charges. And to top it off, I have a brand new 2 year contract that will have a $200.00 ETF.

I tried talking with a supervisor and explaining that I did not know that when I ported the numbers around that I would have to start a new contract and pay an ETF.

I still have a contract with sprint. But they basically through it back and said "We didn't do anything wrong"

I even told the rep that after I get all these extra charges paid off that I was going to cancel my service.. He only proceeded to say, "Is there anything else, I can help you with"..

I had Sprint about 15 years ago, and cancelled because of something stupid like this.

I decided to give them another try. If I can't get this minor issue rectified, than I will just cancel my service and give someone else a try. I would think, that Sprint would want to keep me as a customer. I mean they tell me, I am a "Gold Premiere Customer" but I just don't feel like it.

I remember when Sprint had a Special customer service line, that really helped you out... I think Sprint is getting to big for there britches..

Sorry for the long post... I was just so frustrated, after talking with a supervisor the other day and not getting anywhere.. It's not like, I asked for a free month of service..
