I'm Suprised Sprint is not the #1 carrier in US

I've had every carrier and I've had Sprint for just 1 year now and I must say they are the best value.

I have a 3 line Plan with Unlimited data and includes unlimited calls to cells for $130/month. Thats $43 per line.

They allow you to upgrade every 12 MONTHS to a new phone if you have a share plan.

I'm suprised that in todays economy more people don't have Sprint (especially Blackberry User's since the plan is included)

Sprints service has some minor flaws but nothing that doesn't happen with all carriers.

You've only been with Sprint for one year, a time when they have been on their best behavior in trying to climb out of the customer service hell they created for themselves over the past decade.

If you had been with Sprint for the past 5-8 years, not just the last year, you would understand very well exactly why Sprint is not the #1 carrier in the US.

They deserve credit for their recent improvements. However, they burned so many millions of bridges in the past decade it will take a few more years before they can cash in on their improved service and see meaningful increases in subscriber numbers and loyalty.

Sprint burned a lot of bridges in the past few years with a lot of customers. This means that their word of mouth advertising is overwhelmingly negative. For a lot of customers, what they remember about sprint is poor customer service, poor coverage, and expensive plans (nextel)

So when Sprint comes on the TV advertising how they are cheaper than ATT and Verizon, these customers are thinking "They better be cheaper, because they suck!"

I'm not saying they do suck. in fact, i know that they've improved dramatically in the past few years, working their butts off to improve the customer experience and coverage. Which is why it makes me twice as mad to see them not ADVERTISING it.

They're doing all these great things for the custom...

With the exception of 4x4 trucks, pretty much every Ford vehicle engineered from 1985 to 2000 was a piece of **** compared to any comparable Toyota or Honda.

Starting circa 2002 or 2003, Ford started doing some real engineering work, and they don't suck any more.

I'll still never buy one. I fully accept the fact that they've changed.

It doesn't matter. They have to get it right for the next 10 years to change my mind.

With that, cell phone consumers are a lot more fickle than car buyers. It will take a long time for Sprint to recoup all their lost ground.

This is why I will never buy a car less than 3 years old. My Honda is older than two of my siblings and plainly refuses to die.

There's two kinds of people in this world that buy new cars:

1) The rich
2) The stupid

I am neither.
