This is extremely unethical and I am surprised a sprint employee would try to help someone get over on the company you work for.

I'm thinking the same thing! Why would you do that? An honestly, it's not like Sprint's plans are expensive or anything. In the long run you'd be hurting yourself. Less money coming in for plans could mean less money coming in for Sprint, which means less money for YOU, since there isn't enough of it to go around. I know it's a super basic explanation and there are lots of factors, but helping cust rip the company off is only helping them rip you off.

Don't forget people that if the customer is outside the 90 day window from either activating a new line of service and/or upgrading a wireless device on a Sprint account, all wireless lines will be extended 2 year from the date the account is attached to the NVP discount.

Um, you don't help the cust rip off Sprint. That's why they wait. And besides, there's some phantom department that closes out accounts fro fraud if they get past the system and do receive discounts despite not being employed by that company.

Actually, there are several discounts that don't "flag" or anything and you can attach them to any account you want. There are some who may check every few years to every few months, but it depends. And no, accounts don't get closed out for fraud. The discount just gets removed. Do you realize how many accounts would be closed if it was based on a customer not having the correct discount? There are tons of people in this area alone that put EVERYONE on a military discount since it waives the activation fee (for the moment) and there are customers I've known the entire time I've worked in the wireless industry who have had these discounts and aren't in the military.

they should do it on the SprintSpace site that is for SPRINT EMPLOYEES ONLY and no one has access to that outside of the stores since it's in the intranet, which is different from INTERnet). THey could also ask their manager, or use several tools to access what discounts are. IF it was an employee asking then no, it wouldn't be a rip off to tell them what these discounts are.

This obviously has to be a customer asking so that they can get the biggest discount off of their plan, either that or someone who doesn't know any other way to ask. Maybe they're asking on here in the hopes that someone tells them the codes so that they don't have to look shady in the eyes of their manager.

Reguardless of their affilitation, no one should be gi...
