IS SPRINT REALLY GOING BANKRUPT?

There appears that the Nascar Sponsor who was dying to get a hold of the rights and their name on the legendary cup series for stock cars are about to go into bankruptcy according to online reports as of late.

Is it any wonder when their fees keep increasing exponentially while their subscribers are reducing at an alarming rate due to in some cases budget cuts, coverage, the lessening of the two-way system that made Sprint Nextel what they were?

As the prices of phones keep going up with the massive unnecessary options, the plans keep getting higher and higher priced as other companies bought up their competition and have rather successfully integrated their plans with little or no changes such as AT&T taking over Cingular Wireless. ...

However, they are well known for the fine print for going over your plans numbers leading to excessive charges.

Isn't that how plans work? I mean, if you go over the minutes on AT&T, do they say "That's OK, it's just a suggestion"?

Hey, how about the $18,000 data charge for Verizon that someone mention a while ago?

...it will be because nobody bought their service, and not for any of the reasons that you stated. Ever increasing fees? Have you priced Verizon or at&t lately. Decreasing Nextel's two-way system? Nextel has the largest and best TRUE two-way communication system in the US. PTT is in overall decline because it's a dated technology. How many PTT units do you think the other guys are selling to anyone right now? I'll make you a bet: I'll bet this time next year, Sprint is back in the game bigtime, and nobody will give a crap about the iPhone or Droid.

I heard that same old rumor seven years ago. Then maybe I could have believed it cause sprint wasn't all that great back then but since coming back to them recently I've seen a lot of change since then. As far as the pricing goes I got both my smart phones for under $100 to me that's a bargain. The plan pricing is not that bad either barely pay more then I did with T-mo and I actually get better 3G.

So it's just a rumor then? Well that's good news, because I truly believe that sprit is the best wireless service provider right now as far as pricing, network, and equipment is concerned.

Rumor has it that we're adding 150 reps to the calling floor here in West Virginia. Doesn't sound to me like Sprint's running out of money anytime soon. ๐Ÿ˜
