Sprint Reps Help

I ordered new service from Sprint through www.letstalk.com so I could get my BB Curve Inferno for free instead of paying $149. I'm porting my number into sprint from Straight Talk, a subsidiary of Tracfone. Letstalk told me that my phone would arrive already activated and that my port would complete the next day. Well, it isn't activated and none of these third party crack heads will help me. they say I have to wait 48 hours then call back. WTF?

Yeah if you have your account number maybe you will be able to access it through Sprint Customer service. Or try and give customer service a call (1-888-211-4727) a call maybe if you give them your number that you are porting they could look up the info, if there is even any.

Sadly this is not the first time I have heard this issue. Yes your right you get a cheaper phone price, but now you have no sprint phone and no idea when you will receive it.

I hope your device arrives soon. But next time getting paying a little more for a device and losing the headache is a better thing.

Actually sprints has it BOGO right now, and you can go to bestbuy they sell them for 49.99 and walmart sells them for 29.99. So many options available.

Plus, when porting in a number, its better to just go ahead and get the new sprint number, then port in over it. Its much less headache than when porting in at time of activation.

Well, it finally started working around 9PM eastern time lastnight. It was straight talks issue, not sprints. They didn't even know Sprint had requested my number to be ported, and I had to call them myself and then they released it. They said it would definitely not be any less than 48 hours to port out, but then I was able to speak with a very nice lady in tech support at Sprint and she was able to physically move my port date and time in her system. it's all good now. I have to figure out if I want to keep the curve 8330 or return it to lets talk to get the tour instead. Is there really that much of a difference?? I've always wanted the pre, but I'm a BB man I think.
