I was wondering if any of ya'll think Sprint PCS will sue microsoft over the name "Voice Command"? Sprint's Voice recognition option is called "Voice Command" and now Microsoft name thier new voice recognition software "Voice Command".. Isn't that some type of copyright violation or something?? wouldn't Sprint Own the rights to the name "Voice Command"?

I think Sprint should.. but I doubt they will becuase it will probably ruin any business relationship Sprint will have or has with Microsoft. It could mean no Microsoft smartphones for Sprint if they sued them.

Only if Sprint actually copyrighted the term "Voice Command" would they have any legal reprise.

Well I do now it's a Regestered Trademark, and Sprint COULD sue if they want. Its the same as if VZW woulda named thier PTT service as "Direct Connect" Nextel could sue them for that. I think I may contact Sprint and see what they are thinking about the whole thing.
