I have a Sanyo RL2500 that I now have unlocked from the Sprint network. Is there anyone on here that can help me set this up with Verizon? Thank You,
Glenn

in the us a phone will only work on one companies network. 2 reasons the carrier must have the esn in there data base... the second is that inside the phone is located a sprint chip. you need a verizon chip to get it to work on verizon. and since sanyo only makes phones for sprint in the us that will be vertually impossable to find a verizon chip to fit it or an esn for it. stick with sprint it is better any ways wikth verizon you have one of those patch woprk networks this feature works hear but not hear. you need this phone for hear but it won't work hear. you will have to pay roaming if you are on this portion of the network. yada yada yada.

ps i notice you did want to keep the phone ;) yet another way sprint is the way to go

Stevelvl,
Thanks for posting but I am afraid you are wrong. I feel that you are wrong because about two min ago I used my Sanyo RL2500 to call my girlfriend and yes I am a verizonwireless customer. I unlocked my phone with the MSL code and then I got a Verizon tech to put it into there system. So yes now I have the best network in the country with one of the best phones in the country.
Thanks,
Glenn
