Sprint Rep Here! :)

Blackberry_Gal

Jun 25, 2009, 8:46 AM
My name is Kelly and I've been working for Sprint as a call centre representative since 2005. Seeing the following on this board, I decided I'd offer assistance with any general questions people may have about the network, services and phones we currently offer, seeing as how I can be on here between calls during my shift anyhow. XD!

Sooo--ask away!

Are you suggesting that coconuts are migratory??

It could be carried by the swallow

A 5 OZ. SWALLOW CAN NOT CARRY A 1 LB COCONUT!

Well what if ee grips it by the husk

same with me, I've been a rep for well over a year, and I know the ropes around here. I'd be willing to answer any questions as well (between calls of course)

I too am a rep. Actually a retail Lead at a Corporate Full Service Center. So, if you guys in CC have any general questions about the policies in retail or questions i can help with, feel free to PM me 😉
I think this would help because i get alot of, "customer care sent me here to get my phone replaced. They said I can swap out my phone for any other phone with the same retial price" This of course we cant do even at a full service center. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me!

Do you foresee the BB Storm coming to Sprint anytime soon????

To be honest, I dont. Its kinda like asking if were ever going to get the LG EnV. Not likely. My brother has Verizon and has the BB Storm. To be honest, its not all its cracked up to be. Most ppl only buy it because its a blackberry, or because of the "touchscreen" I dislike it because of all the bugs it has. Oh man its awful đŸ‘ŋ
Also you cant type too fast because its one big button. If you do type too fast you'll find yourself typing an E instead of a D. The only thing i love about the phone is its Camcorder. It plays amazing! No glitches or anything, but to be flat out honest, I dont see a Storm with a Sprint logo anytime soon...if not ever. But only time will tell, we'll see what happens and what decisions are made over the next co...

That may be something that Customer Care needs to work on. Of course, care gets plenty of calls from customers saying that the store told them to call for credits, phones, contract changes, plans that don't exist, and other things of that matter.

We'd all be better off if people would just refer to the Sprint policies and not try to look good to customers by saying that someone else can give them what they want.

The smart phones do have a $100 deductible. That wasn't Sprint's doing, it is Asurion's decision.

Hi,

I'm currently on my mother's sprint account and have till January of 2010 till the contract is up. Is there anyway that I can get my own individual contract without having to pay the ETF fees and keep my same number?

You'll be an existing customer of sorts. You will have a new account but the line will have the same contract and upgrade eligibility that you have now.

Yes you will need to get your credit ran. If you have fairly new credit, it usually turns out to be a $150 deposit. Really depends. Also, if your on her account im assuming you are on an family plan, hence you would have to go to an Individual plan on your own. Same upgrade eligibility, same contract, same everything. You might have a prorated bill the first month, but other than that its it 😉
