iPhone to Sprint, Never?
So my question is this....
Apple wanted a global market access, thus chose ATT, Verizon will have that oppertunity with LTE 4G, and thats why Apple is interested in a verizon iPhone.
I suppose they're never will be a sprint CDMA version of the iPhone, But how about a Sprint iPhone for the WiMax 4G network?

you would think WiMax Being a new 4G standard would be appealing for apple to launch an iPhone on?
In the mean time, I guess the best we can do is a ipod Touch.
I would get AT&T again, but AT&T just does not do as well as sprint in my Area, which is the northern suburbs of Denver.
Does anyone know why, or why wouldn't Apple put an iPhone on WiMax?

Because WiMax is not being used as much as LTE is. If apple makes a product, you know they will want to make money off of it. Thats why Verizon is going to get the iPhone with 4G at the start of 10.

EV-DV anyone? Well they recovered from that bit of arrogance in time to launch EV-DO. I think they will be just fine with this Wi-Max. If it doesn't work out they will scramble to convert to LTE just as they did with EV-DO. At least, I hope so... The less competition there is in the wireless arena the worse it is for consumers in the long run.

First off, Verizon will start test markets for LTE in 2010, much like what Sprint has been doing in Baltimore and Portland with Wimax...
Which leads to my next point....LTE won't even be ready for a 4G Iphone, because LTE won't even BE READY NATIONWIDE!
Lastly, Apple and AT&T have an exclusivity agreement through 2011....SO NO, VERIZON WONT BE GETTING A 4G IPHONE IN 2010. 👿

McAdam did confirm that a tiny group of VZW testers would have access to 4G this year, with one "pre-commercial" network per US coast being activated during 2009.
We will have 20-30 markets LIVE with LTE in the 2H of 10.
