Palm Pre
So, anyone see the Palm CES press conference? Announcing the Palm Pre! Looks awesome! What does everyone think? First half 2009, no pricing yet.

I'm a little worried, Palm has never made a slide phone to my knowledge, at least they put a flash on this one.

im almost positive palm didnt make the actual phone... HTC usually makes them.. htc made the palm pro and have made treos for palm in the passed.. im sure this one is made by htc also

Thus far no HTC branding on the phone like on the Treo Pro, but i guess we wont know till they start selling. It does have that HTCish like styling but some mild differences, and the screen seems to be one of them. Im not positive but i believe most HTC touchscreen phones use a resistive touchscreen where this one seems to implement a capacitive touchscreen. Then again, capacitive touchscreens are the future of phones, so maybe HTC is "goin with the flow".

Well i take back part of what i said, i thought the Treo Pro was badged with HTC but i was wrong. It would be nice to see a powerful HTC device without WinMo on it!

It's months and months away. Advocate phones tend to be a week or two before launch. So far, no confirmation if it will be an advocate phone or not.
