What is the Ready Now program???

Customers get actual assistance after purchasing a phone, or can set appointment, on how they could maximize the potentials and features of their phones.

its going well, takes an extra hour with some people but its good.

IMO, it's not a program thing but a rep thing. Some reps do that and are technically savvy by their nature. Some are oblivious to the world beyond the bare minimum to sale the freebie phone or whatever phone the customer thinks looks nice.
I don't think the Ready Now program will have a long term effect. It would be more productive to weed out the reps who don't know their products, how to problem solve, do real customer service, etc. The Ready Now program will carry steam for about six months before some other exec vp has some "great idea" that puts Ready Now on the back burner.
Don't get me wrong, I like the idea in concept. However, I think it's like trying to put on a nice roof to a house when the foundation isn't on solid g...

Right, the idea is really great. but still this is really for customer's benefit. at least they'll have somebody who could actually teach them to do things with their phone that they thought they couldn't.
This "program" or whatever we might call it could somehow, i believe, change some people's feelings towards sprint. Customers are the primary foundation, This will somehow strengthen customer satisfaction and service, and strengthen the foundation.
