Everybody all together now. Q-chat! Q-chat! Q-chat! Maybe if we talk about it enough sombody will accidently on purpose leak a release date for some of the phones!

Im soo with you man. I cant wait for those phones to come out. I really doo want to see more pics other than the ones everyone know about (katana and the ugly samsung models)

BTW am I going to be able to keep my free incoming for 39.99 and add walkie talkie to my line with out renewing anything. because if i remember when the ic502 was released i had to change my plan and pay 49.99 for free incoming. (no way jose)

Its walkie talkie that works on CDMA and also compatible with IDEN (nextel walkie talkie). its great beacause when this comes out it will mean more DC coverage across the US.

Q Chat, created and designed by Qualcomm, in essence will be a VoIP solution deployed over the Sprint EVDO Rev A data network allowing high performance push to talk/HPPTT between Sprint CDMA customer and iDEN ones from anywhere on the Sprint EVDO Rev A network.

I wonder if Sprint will allow existing customers to change over to a Q-chat ready phone without paying full price?

I doubt it since iDEN will be around until 2012. Maybe closer to the actual shutoff date, incentives will be offered to transition customers over.

What if you are eligible for an upgrade or your contract is up? In that case would you be allowed to change without paying full price?

So your question is "If I'm eligable for an upgrade do I get a rebate off of a new device with a new 2 year contract?" Like usual you would get your $150 or $75 depending on wether its a 1yr upgrade or a 23 month upgrade pkus any aplicable mail in rebates or instant overlays (if its a two year upgrade)*

*activation fee and new 2year agreement required. Activation fee is waived if purchased online or store rep lies to you
