its 10 years but thats alright.
nextel was also rumored to go chapter 11 too but then mccaw help bailed it out, according to reports, which i dont agree. but now nextel is very strong and making a lot of money.
i belive that they should leave the name nextel instead of sprint, becuase sprint isnt a very strong brand name while nextel has a great brand name and a lot of loyal subscribers.
