Lets admit it folks the days of sprint ontop is done. The days of the First mp3phone first color phone first picture phone first Cameraphone and first video phone are dead. Apple has beaten sprint at its own game. And it doensnt look like Sprint will have an answer for the IPHOne.

You posted this same thing yesterday, why again today?

Also, can't you understand that this is just hype? This same process happens anytime a new and exciting phone is announced. Let's recap some of the recent hype's:

1. RAZR

2. ROKR (that one really advanced technology)

3. Chocolate

4. Treo 650/700p & w

5. M1

6. A900

7. Sidekick

8. SLVR

9. Fusic

10. Gz One

I could go on and list more but you should get the point. This isn't an industry changing device, especially since it's available on one carrier. What it is, is a very very nice phone with good features and the ability to listen to music, and WiFi. Um, I think there are alternatives to it offered on every carrier.

Like I said yesterday, quit cr...

im not just speaking of the iphone im speaking of sprint as a provider in general, what innovation has sprint delivered in the last couple of years. Sprint seems to be on the decline. What made sprint the carrier of choice was their technology in phones.. not the plans or service...now thats gone..what does sprint have to offer that the other providers dont.

You really don't know what you're talking about do you?

what innovation has sprint delivered in the last couple of years

EVDO, EVDO rev A, WiMax in the future. OTA music downloads and Sprint TV. Also you will see QChat shortly after WiMax. Now VZW offers everything similar, and I couldn't tell you exactly who the first one was to rollout each of these. But what you said is flat out dumb. If there is one thing that Sprint can hang their hat on is innovation and wireless mobility.

what does sprint have to offer that the other providers dont

iDen PTT, EVDO rev A, OTA music downloads in addition to using your memory card for your own songs, non crippled bluetooth, fast spee...

EVDO WAS offered by verizon wireless first sprint basked in their footsteps. WImax 4G so far is theoretical lets see when that goes up to production right it hasn't even been tested yet in dc or Chicago. 7pm nights is already being offered by cingular they just dont advertise it as commercially as sprint does. Face it sprint has been footsteps behind. Recently acquiring motorola razr products years after its production release. treo 700 half a year later to verizon. Samsung i830 a year later to verizion So tell me what is the innovation sprint has come out with that verizon didnt already?????

Cingular offers 7PM as an option that can be purchased for an additional charge. It's free with Sprint. Plus when the new plans roll out, 6PM night and weekends will be $5. That can't be beat.

Sprint doesn't have the people that come on here and claim that the verizon network was built by god and only he can bring it down so if you sign up with them you will never have an issue! I will take that innovative concept over damn phones anyday! Phones are jsut that. Sometimes it isn't in a companies intrest to pay a huge fee to be the first to offer it. That money could go to lets see improve the network. Which I got to say sprint is doing a crap load of! They will be adding 4300 new towers this year and added over 2000 this year not to mention the IDEN towers fitted with CDMA antenna. In a couple of years the others are going to be like wow how did that happen. And they will be like I guess we were more concerned about getting the lat...

I don't have to you know why. I am completely happy with sprint. and I don't have to find my self constantly bashing other carriers. I have tried verizon alltel and cingular in my area. Sprint was by far the best when I tried the, Cingular was a close 2nd. But when the military decides to move me sprint may not be the best choice. So the one that needs to stop telling something is all your verizon people that think there god like network is the best everywere!

Really? basked? Ok, so when they rollout RevA, I guess they'll be basking 🙄

WImax 4G so far is theoretical

Theoretical is not the right word. It's not a myth, it's real.

7pm nights is already being offered by cingular they just dont advertise it as commercially as sprint does.

That's because you have to pay for it on cingular.

Face it sprint has been footsteps behind. Recently acquiring motorola razr products years after its production release. treo 700 half a year later to verizon.

Rock on 😁

Also, about the Aircards, did you see the article in the Washington Post about Sprint?
Apparently Sprint is the only company that really lets you use your wireless card for UNLIMITED service. All of the other companies have stipulations. Most carriers don't even let you download or upload! Not very "unlimited" if you ask me. Sprint's service is also cheaper than the rest.

its an nice phone if your an apple junkie and love all the i-this and i-that crap. but its on an inferior network. cingular is behind the times. but who cares it just going to be a status symbol anyways, all the cingy people walking around with there super cool iphone that cant do to much unless there in a hotspot, but they look cool

just like the razr which blows big time. i would never buy one just because its a razr. there are a million better phones. but u can have your iphone and u can continue to shop at american eagle or old navy and buy a honda civic. why do you do that, because everyone else did. you must be proud.

i use the ppc6700 with sprint which does everything that the iphone does except make me pay 600 bucks for it or force me to BUY itunes.

Yes the fact that all IDen towers are being fitted with CDMA antennas so that the new hybred phones will work with the PTT and the investment in WiMax to make the next leap in phone technology so you dont have to look for hotspot to use your device mean nothing to the naysayers

exactly. Sprint sucks. That is all they can say. Not sprint sucks because of this this and this. If I say verizon is not good which I have said about my area and its because they just started and their coverage is minimal here in eastern NC. I will provide you with facts. But the ones that don't have no facts and can only say things to start trouble!

Nor Cingy/ATT... It's only a matter of time when the court proceedings start on the 'iPhone' trademark. If I was Cisco, I would proceed w/ the lawsuit but ask Apple for some astronomical amount of money to license the trademarked name. Hell, Apple is good for it!
