SPRINT31907

Ok I have two SPrint phones, I currently have one in my sisters name, and one in my own. My brother is on the line with my sister and his 2300 was acting up because he beats it up with his construction job. So i did an ESN swap with his 2300 so he can have my 7400 which i didnt use anymore cause i have my own plan wit my 8400. Anyway i did the swap back in November, and I have been told that the Sprint Upgrade Program has changed that if you perform an ESN swap that the Upgrade status of either one of the handsets would not be changed. Well i checked today when I got into work and i double checked with my manager about the ordeal, i then called sprint *3rd party hotline* and she told me the policy never changed and that the she can do nothin...

I know the upgrade was for the same phone for 2yrs. and so forth. I think they have recently changed this policy. But since I change phones allot I never have been able to get a new phone on the program. But I have been told by CS that a corporate Store Manager can override this if you have never gotten an upgrade in the last 2 yrs!

It may vary by store, but at the store I work at, any recon phones, or phones that were active on another account or were purchased at full price will not effect your rebate. Never purchase a phone at full price at a third party retailer to avoid complications later.

the upgrade program was not for the account being 2 yrs old but the phone on the account. That is what allot of people didn't understand. Every time I did a ESN swap to another phone my time started over again!

check that site, it should provide further details on Sprints Handset Upgrade Program. but, if you know the number for a department that can better assist you, just call them.

I know in my store which is corporate, the recent changes to the policy is the last time you got a rebate on a phone. This is what we were told. It also does not matter how many times the person has changed phones just on when the last time the person receive a rebate. IE if it has been a year since you received a rebate you would get $75 off, if it has been 2 or more years then it would be $150. This is what I was told on the new policy. To be honest I really don't know if this is the new policy or not.

that's what they are telling cs reps. but i've seen accts where the person hasn't used the upgrade at all,and is still going by the esn date. if this is the case, you can get cs to look into it and if verified we can give a ICEC code, which is a manual $150 rebate code for the customer.

Awesome that helps, ill head over to the corporate store and check it out, and if they give me a problem, ill have to call CS and have a nice conversation if they act to me like they did this morning. It's really difficult to do business and have business when CR does NOT help or tells me I AM wrong when i was obviously not....damn i work for Sprint and i cant stand thier CR...need new ones honestly. I cant sell if i dont have backup.
