Sprint not as bad as i thought
I've had Sprint for almost a year and couldn't be more satisfied, i came from two years of Cingular before that, i dropped them because they got rid of their unlimited web access plan. I was skeptical about choosing Sprint due to reading bad reviews and hearing ppl tell me stuff like "don't get sprint, they ruined my credit, they charged me 400 dollars for nothing and bla bla...Those are the ppl that don't read the little brochure they give you stating that certain charges occur for certain things. But i had a trial period so it wouldn't matter anyways. I started out with out with the samsung a740. It was a nice phone. It picked up a signal where my old phone failed and the calls were so clear. My phone has been cut off but only beca...

Most people that talk bad about sprint never had them one day! I have had them for 6 yrs and have no problems with them whatsoever. I have used them all over the country and never had a problem getting through. I remember one day I went to my Uncle's in farmville VA and picked up my phone and dialed. My Uncle said you get reception noone does here. I said I am roaming but it works. My friend who had verizon said well I don't even get that. So I can't complain no matter were I go I can always make a call.

I feel the same way about verizon but don't advertise it! I think there is allot of things that go into what you want. And verizon has nothing I want. Unl text, data, and decent prices. And since I have no trouble with making, receiving, or with dropped calls I am perfectly happy! I think were you are and what you want has everything to do with who you should go for. And I don't push my personal feeling about verizon on anyone as they may have an entirely different experience!

The above line says it all. Sprint does get low marks in reliability from J.D. Powers and Consumer Reports, but if you work and live where Sprint is the best provider, then it's foolish to get something else because they're "better".
I think if folks would use this rule of thumb rather than trying to decide who's better, a lot of confusion and disappointment would cease. I know lots of people with Sprint PCS who are completely satisfied with their service and phone, and to them, that's all that matters.
I have criticized Sprint on a number of issues, but never do I suggest that anyone who has them to get something else. How dumb would it be to dump Sprint if they work well where you live and get say, T-Mobile, a higher ranked provider,...

you know i agree with you statement so much, i lice here in denver, and i have had t-mobile, cingular, cricket, and now sprint. Sprint works the best here for me to the places i go.
