Sprint Deposit for 18 Year Old (IF ANY)...

Hello,

I currently live here in WV and was wondering what Sprint's policy was on establishing service for me as i am 18 years old and basically how much of a deposit I would I most liekly have to pay. I have my insurance in my name and pay it on time which as I have been told that helps establish credit.

I am currently with CELL ONE under parents and I am sick and tired of their lame cell phone selection and dropped calls all the time.

I am willing to pay at least $200.00 for a deposit but what do you guys think my deposit will be if any.

Thanks in advance!
Steven

If you have no credit, you should be able to get a $150 deposit. You should get a credit card, use it, and pay it off monthly man.

Deposits may be going up soon. You shouldn't have more than $150 and after 11 months of your account being in good standing (payments made on time, every time), you get it refunded to your account. You'll probably have a spending limit but unless you buy a really expensive plan, you won't have a problem.

Or you could just get your parents to switch.

It varies...

If you have any established credit it may be different. I've had 18 yr olds who came back with no deposit before. But generally it is 150.00, so if I were you I would probably expect that.

I don't mind paying that $150.00 for a deposit but of course hopefully from where I have had my insurance in my name hopefully that will help. Wish my parents would switch but they are in a pretty good contract with the.

I'll be so happy to get off of GSM! Tired of dropped calls!
