ring tones
I have heard from a friend of mine that Sprints ring tones expire after 3 months, and you have to buy them again. Is this true?
I am considering going with sprint and getting a fusic phone, if thats true about the ring tones does anyone know of any program that makes ring tones for the fusic?

If you buy them from Sprint they have an expiration date of 3 months on them...so that part is true
But if you don't erase the ringer from your phone, you will have it forever.
The only way you will have to re-buy it is if you erase from your phone and it is past 3 months.

So the ring tones will keep working after 3 months, as long as I dont erase them?
Just making sure. Thanks

You should just make all your ringtones, I used to buy all my ring tones from Sprint until I realized how much I was spending, and how they lacked quality and time.
I use a program called Wavepad to crop and edit the music and convert it to AAC/MP4. They sound GREAT, loud and clear, just like a CD.
I use www.sprintusers.com/focus to send the ringtones to my cell phone. I have the Samsung A940

For Sprint handsets that support wav and MP3 format, I use a freeware program called Jet Audio and upload them to my Samsung A920 via a site called Phone Loader at http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/
just try to keep the tone under 30 seconds as the longer the tone the less you can store on your handset.
