For the better!!!! In September, Sprint is getting rid of the crappy rule of your upgrade elegibility being based upon your last ESN swap rather than th e last time you got an upgrade. That is all I know so far, hopefully they will make it as good as Verizon's "New Every Two" Upgrade Program.

That would be awesome! about time too, since this is the main reason why I left sprint to go to verizon, is was just very ****ty to be based on the last ESN# swap.
Go sprint! woooohooo!

So you are saying they will base it on the last time you signed a contact. If you signed a contract and received a phone the same day one would have to conclude you upgraded. Otherwise there is no other way to prove you didn't just bought a phone out right.

In stores, the purchase can be looked up from account level, so theres no need for a recipt if you bought from a corporate sprint store (not nextel)
Not only that, but Im sure it isnt too hard to note accounts.

Notate ๐Ÿคฃ No one is going to look back worth two years of notes to see if someone might have notated if the phone was a straight out purchase or an upgrade.
