Is there anyway to get a higher spending limit? I keep my bill paid on time, in fact i pay the bill for two cycles sometimes, i'm asking because i wanted to subscribe to some of those power vision channels and other things, and i also purchase a few songs through the sprint music store every month, but i don't wanna get too happy one month and have my phone turned off. If there is a way to get a raised limit please tell me.

Only way I know of is to have more than 1 line, each line you add ups your spending limit, generally by double.

You could just pay an extra $50.00 or so on your account to avoid going over.

No they won't raise your spending limit unless you are eligible for more lines and you actually activate one. but thats pissing away money ☹️

theres a limit for a reason, your credit must not have been good at the time you applied for service, why would they increase your limit more and risk more financial losses??

Cell phone companies don't take the direct score and use that to decide what credit class you fall into. The formula is a little different. Also, once your score hits 720 it doesn't matter anymore. that is the level at which you qualify for the best rates on mortgages, car loans, etc.

Look, go into a sprint store and ask them to put in an E-mail to CDMA review. If you have had the phone for atleast one year and have good payment history. that department will review and respond within seventy two hours and the rep should contact you as soon as that response is given.

Just a heads up. If your account has never been placed in NPD status and had very few "hotlines" (your phone be turned off) and have been with Sprint atleast a year (I think that's what it was), your credit will be upgraded along with your spending limit.

if it's been more then 6 months you can ask for a credit review... based upon your payment habits they might extend the amount.. if you've met your contract and have rarely to never missed a payment or exceeded your spending limit (shut off or service interruption) then again... call in for a credit review... can't hurt but to try

I know this. I work for Sprint. What I'm talking about is an automated thing for everyone who qualifies. No one has to ask for it. And this has nothing to do with the 6 month re-evaluation.

this was not in reply to anything you said... and Sprint is two companies in one.. so it does not autmoatically happen anymore nor will it with the UBP...

P.S. for those who qualify? wouldn't that mean that some people would have to ask... especially if they are on a spending limit since not ALL qualify?

Yep, only those who have been financially good with Sprint (payed their bill on time, never been suspended) will get the ASL/credit class increase. I forget the day this will all go down, I think it was April 11th.
