I just purchased this phone and have been very happy with two exceptions.
1-poor battery life
2-phone gets hot when charging or talking to long
any comments appreciated

No kidding. Color screen phones have worse battery life between charges than monochrome screens, it's just a fact of life right now. I find Motorola & Samsung handsets to be the worst offenders in this regard.
Of course, I have to charge my T720 twice a day - WITH the extended battery. Then again, I use the thing constantly. Not much I can do about that.

My t730 does okay with the standard battery (and I'm sure it's helped by its 4,096 color screen), but then again I only use my phone a combined 400 minutes a month. I'm not a heavy user.
