I'm looking for a Family Plan, Two Treo 650's with the $10 vision plan.
Questions that the rep could not answer (I think they were new).

1. If you are roaming, does your internet still work?
2. Is the Vision internet really the internet, or a version of T-Zones?
3. Does their 650 have the same problems as Cingulars?
4. Why is their data plan $10 and everyone else charges $45?

It seems too good to be true. I hear bad stories about their coverage.

Sprint: No coverage, bad Customer service
T-Mo: No PDA's, worse customer service
Cingular: $45 data plan, stingy on the minutes.
Verizon: Mercedes Benz? I giess you get what you pay for. I don't have the $ for these guys.

I will answer the questions that I know.

1.No, your Internet will not work in a roaming area.
2.From what I've experienced, it is the Internet, just smaller cause of the screen. The treo screen is a lot bigger though so I expect it to be better.
3.Not sure of cingulars issues w/ their treo, as far as I know there are no known issues w/ Sprints version, I do work for sprint so if people had issues then I would hear it everyday.
4.One of our data plans is $10/month but that is the basic one that doesn't include pictures or video which the treo is capable of. To get the package that includes all of that you would pay $20 per month on the primary line and $10 per month on the secondary. As to why the others are more expensive I am no...

I'll help answer a couple more. T-Mobile is actually the best customer service according to most consumer advocay firms (i.e. JD Power, Consumer reports... those people). Sprint's CS is about as bad as Cingular, I still think Cingular's is worse but that point will be debated forever. As far as coverage goes, Sprint actually has the most towers of any company, the only thing is a big chunk of those are iden, but they have started adding CDMA to those. For coverage I would go with Sprint. The internet on the treo is the full internet.

As far as coverage goes, many plans include no roaming so you get nationwide service just like Verizon, but you can use your Vision service on every major city and highway which is a huge bonus.

1. If you are roaming, does your internet still work?

No.

2. Is the Vision internet really the internet, or a version of T-Zones?

Full internet.

3. Does their 650 have the same problems as Cingulars?

I'm not sure what problems the Cingular model has, but be expected to see your phone restart for no reason once in a while. And don't be too surprised if it crashes. If it happens frequently, then there is a problem and I'd get it swapped out (covered under manufacture's warantee so it's no charge to do so).

4. Why is their data plan $10 and everyone else charges $45?

Becuase the other providers think it's more profitable for them. T...
