I used to enjoy this forum, but, now it seems to be the same thing over and over. So, in an effort to create some excitement, i shall call everyone here an a$$hole. 🤣

Well.... that didn't work, did it now Darth? Looks like most of the people here are immune to your petty attempts to stir up strife among the forum users. I for one am Quite appauled at the fact you would sink so low as to even attempt something like that. And why in the sprint column of all places. Why not take your silly banter to somewhere else you would be more appreciated, like the Cingular forum, or even the T-Mobile forum. Where there is no real cellular info to talk about.
You could have mentioned anything news worthy like how nice the new Samsung A-940 is or how cool and hip the Sanyo 4930 seems to you. I am sure everyone would agree with you too that the Samsung Blade is way cooler than any of the Ridiculous MOTO RAZR ph...

I see you are not amused at my attempt for people such as yourself to wake up. As a matter of fact, I have checked out the a940 and really dug it, even though its a Samsung product. However, I do feel confident we will find something wrong with it, because it is a Samsung product.
As for the 4930, coolest stick phone i've ever seen. And as for the Blade, I'm really curious about this phone. I hope it rocks, cuz the RAZR is cool, although fragile. I believe it will be one of Samsung's better offerings.

I, too, was wary of buying a Samsung product. The last one I had was the a500, one of the phones offered with the release of Vision 1.0. If anyone remembers that phone, it was one of the most bugged out phones Sprint ever sold. The separate camera that came with it hardly ever worked good. It wouldn't support https. Heck, after 1 week of owning it, Sprint couldn't get the vision to provision (no pun intented).
But after getting the 940, I can comfortably say that this is a GREAT phone! No software bugs yet. It doesn't reset when you press 200 buttons when it's in the middle of doing something intensive. It just works. The reception is pretty good on it for an internal antenna.

lol!
I can't drink anymore.. It sucks. I miss gin & tonic.
Anyways this forum is boring due to a few things. Keep in mind this is my own opinion based upon my 7 years of experience in wireless.
Sprint-Nextel is more or less quiet while trying to digest Nextel. They have ALOT of work ahead of them. This isn't something as relatively simple as asorbing a customer base with the same technology.. Oh no.. Sprint has to not only asorb the Nextel customer base, but now they have to support TWO technologies. Well they have to support it for awhile until they come out with something new.
So yeah.. It's quiet in here cause there is alot of work to be done.
...
NOW were getting somewhere!!!!!!Not to mention having to buy out Nextel Partners. I heard Nextel sorta mis-represented the dollar value of Nextel Partners, disclosed a lower value. Partners sells Nextel service in my market, causing mucho confusion to customers here.

And Sprint has it's own set of affiliate issues. Nextel is fortunate that it has only 1, but it's a big one. Sprint has many and already dropped the cash to take over some of them.
...
Where all the confusion lies is NTP(Nextel Partners) value has gone up over 40% since the announcement of the Nextel - Sprint merger. New sprint wants to pay them at the original value, and NTP wants the inflated value. The FCC has determined that NPT cannot stand on its own without Sprint Nextel, and the shareholders voted they wanted to be purchased. The only thing left now is to set the price.
...
wouldn't FCC audit and determine a value or something since there is a discrepancy?
...
Not yet, NTP hired an appraiser, and Sprint Nextel hired one, if the value is more than 10% off FCC hires a 3rd to set the final price

Let's liven it up a little! We'll go skeet shooting using old Samsung N400's! I'll bring the bean dip. 😉
...
🤣 THATS FUNNY!!!! My fiance makes a great cheese dip, but, i was thinking about beverages myself
...
I can bring the chai tea, and the caramel frappalattes. Wait.... Don't you have to have a licence to carry an N400?
...
License is required in 12 states plus Guam........However, serving Chai without federal permission from the FCC (Federal Chai Commission) can get you a hefty fine.
