i have the sprint pcs vision pictures pack. is aim free on it or does it cost?i also have unlimited txt messaging

Yes! On the new vision all instant messaging is free. Doubly so if you have unlimited text.

Whats funny is vision shows a Sprint offering for MSN messenger, but, when you go to download it, they ask who your carrier is through a long list.
For some reason, Sprint isn't on the list? What gives??

If you use AIM through the vision browser, it's free. But it's also kind of annoying to use. You can purchase an AIM application that doesn't require the browser to be open and runs in the background and is really nice, but it's 2.99 per month. pick your pleasure. 😁

Neither is quite satisfying for a IM junkie, but it helps you keep in touch while not near a good ole' PC

Why does it say IMing's free, but you have to pay the $2.99/month? Do you actually get charged the $2.99, or is it waived if you have the Vision on your account? Also, when I tried AIM, it sent the messages as text messages, not like Yahoo and MSN did. Is that normal?
