Keep up the excuses. They truly amuse me. When has Verizon done anything but LEAD the industry in EVERYTHING that matters on a quarterly basis???? And when did Sprint hit the 50 million customer mark like Cingular??? Oh, wait, it hasn't happened, and WON'T!!!!! Not at the rate they are losing customers to Verizon and Cingular, and even T-Mobile.

It is that way because most of us have experience with Sprint. And their customer service DOES suck. And they are way behind on their data services (EVDO).
Most people I know have paid thier ETF with sprint at one time or another due to their horrible customer service.

Agreed. They are way ahead of T-Mobile, but when compared to VZW and Cingular, they are way behind VZW and a little behind Cingular (that won't stay that way for long).

Actually guys I think that Tmo has released EDGE on their entire network (however small it may be). My understanding is that EDGE is quicker than all other data transfers

No, they don't. The fastest I have ever gotten on EDGE is about 200kbps (Nokia 6230). I have gotten speeds up to 1mbps on EVDO(LG VX-8000 and VX-8100 and Moto E815). Now are you going to try to tell me they are the same?

Actually there was a time when Verizon was not the preverbial "leader". It was prior to 2000 before 5 companies had to be bought out to make any kind of head way in the wireless arena. So yes Verizon is a good company, but they had a bit of a head start on the other carriers. Once analog is shut down, and the other companies get a little steam in their engines, there wont be a whole lot of difference between the big three. Just like with Dish and Cable, once analog gets shut down and they start charging all their customers to have a digital box for each TV there will be a massive migration to dish.
Just calm down, go back to your Verizon forum and have fun. Its funny when fan boys call others out but never notice it themselves.
