WLNP and Phonebook Transfers

Sprint is trying to have sync software available by Nov 24th to transfer phone-books from competitors phones to SPCS phones at retail stores in an effort to make the transition easier for the customer. 🙂

good luck ... when I worked @ SPCS they couldn't always get their software to successfully transfer phonebooks between 2 phones that were the same model... 😳

Yeah, it can be a pain most of the time, but they have started using USB instead of serial on most of the newer model phones and they are much faster. So far the newer model Samsungs starting with the A600, A620, and I500 and Nokia are USB.
