Frustrated with Sprint in Montclair
When I'm out of my wifi home & try to connect to Google Maps, Shazam, or any other app, I get the message "Could not activate cellular data network"
Upon my most recent trip to the Sprint Store this afternoon I finally found out they are upgrading towers & the work is expected to continue until 2014!
I am on a family plan, 6 mos. into a 2 yr contract... I have few options, thus this post.
Is anyone else out there in the greater Montclair area having similar problems? Perhaps we can have an impact together.
Connect to Wifi, then once your connected, open up the dialer and hit
##UPDATE# then hit CALL.
It should say Updating Services. Now it will either come back and say the Changes were updated, or it will say Update failed. If it DOES complete the update then take it OFF of wifi and 3G should work just fine. If it fails, then turn it off and on and retry the steps above. If it STILL doesnt work, then back up all your info and youll have to reset the phone to factory defaults. When you activate the phone again make sure youre on wifi. That should for sure get it worki...
