Hey everyone. Just a quick question. I have had Verizon for over 10 years now, and my wife is considering switching to Sprint. She switched jobs and her company phone/personal phone will be disconnected at the end of May. We are thinking of getting a shared unlimited plan with Sprint. I have a Verizon plan that has unlimited data on it, but as most VZW customers know they no longer offer unlimited data plans. If I upgrade any part of my plan I lose unlimited data. That is a huge deal to me since I average 4.0 GB per month data. To purchase that data plan per month from VZW is highway robbery!!!! So I ask is it worth switching? I left Verizon and my grandfathered unlimited data for sprint. In my area Sumter SC Verizon didn't have coverage at my work place but sprint does. So I changed, but now I'm sitting here waiting for sprint to upgrade to 4G. NOT happening during my contracts life, so I wait and hope Verizon will add coverage where I need it then I'm going back minus unlimited data, I'll live with 3 GB but its night and day using Samsung S4 on a 3G limited network. You want the new phone you know what your options are.

Sprint is one of the only carriers offering truly unlimited data plans. They don't throttle the data either - when you use more data it doesn't suddenly slow down to a snail's pace. Where there is 4G data available - 4G LTE offers crazy fast data and the 4G WiMAX isn't too shabby, either. If you're not sure if you're covered, check out sprint.com to see the data coverage at your work and home.
