Sprint is launching Push to Talk (Readylink) this week

Nov 15, 2003, 10:31 AM
Yes I know we've all waited for it and here it is Sprint PCS has the walkie talkie they call Readylink. It's price by itself is $15/month or if you also subscribe to PCS Vision services it's only $5/month. On the heels of Sprint's 7pm nights and weekends and mobile television the cutting edge is truly here and now.

yay yippee skippie, i guess it would be benificial if everyone bought a walkie talkie phone, of course if all your friends are poor and cant afford the new spiffy walkie talkie phone, i guess you could sit and talk to yourself !!! Rolling Eyes

Sure, it would be wonderful if you could talk to anyone with a ptt, regardless of the carrier, but I guess that is in the future. For now, everyone I work with is on Nextel, can not talk to them with Sprint.
