THREE DAY Nationwide Outage for Sprint Direct Connect

For the past week or two, thread after thread, post after post, nothing but complaints about the new Sprint Direct Connect on CDMA. I wonder if Sprint's executives recall what a death blow it was to RIM's Blackberry business when RIM experienced large outages for days on end. The same has recently been happening with SDC on CDMA.

I guess Sprint must be glad that Howardforums is still hijacked, or they'd be getting even more negative postings about the unreliability of Sprint Direct Connect on CDMA.

After the massive outage, I wonder what FEMA now thinks about their committment to switch from iDEN PTT to CDMA PTT...

I guess Verizon should abandon LTE since they had three massive nationwide outages back in February. Yeah, their 3G network is way more reliable...if it ain't broke don't fix it. 😉

Never shall there be one truthful word about Sprint that happens to be negative that will go unanswered, nay, unavenged, by The Gloopster, the great trolling Defender of Sprint! 🙄

Actually, I don't think Verizon is going to listen to you, but this is a free country, so you can suggest anything you want to them. 😉

Of course, the main issue in the several threads for which I posted links, was Sprint's poor performance in terms of customer service, i.e. the textbook-bad way that Sprint failed to step up to the plate, admit the issue clearly, and keep customers informed as to when the service would be restored. THAT was the point of the many, many,...
