Nothing like throwing out a discount intended for a specific group and allowing anyone to sign up for it.

I signed up on the site. You don't have to be a student. The deal isn't through wirefly or lets talk either, it's through Studentrate.I just filled out the form on their site for more info so we'll see what they have to say.

I originally came here looking for discounts on T-Mobile but this deal sounds really good. Although what determines if it's 15 or 23%? School/State?

FYI I took a look at this link today. It looks like there is no $100 mail-in rebate anymore, as it is instant, and the rebate is $30.

Just saw the same site, studentrate, is taking pre-orders for Evo 3D and Nexus S and offering pretty much the same deal, 15% off bill, $50 service credit, $35 rebate, free shipping, waived activation fees. People who are pre-ordering upgrades get the same thing minus the $50 credit.

Anyone looking forward to either of these devices?

I noticed Sprint is having a special again where you can port numbers over from another carrier for a $125 service credit.

Can you get this special on top of the discounts mentioned above?

I submitted a form to get that discount on the Nexus S. Someone called me that day to answer my questions and sent me a link to order my phone. I ported my # from Verizon and so I got the $125 also.

Here's a direct link to the private store where you can get the discounts. Just use the save50 promo code and the studentrate promo code in the company/organization space
