i get horrible reception in my new house...wondering how good this works...also, if this is like a tower in your house, does it give off a lot of radiation or anything? thanks

my friend uses one, he goes from no service to 2-3 bars, it basically is Voice over IP, need DSL or faster to run it. Dont worry about radiation

to give you an actual answer to use. an air-rave boosts the signal in your house. due to materials and stuff that may prohibit service in there. it gives you the best VOICE coverage possible so you can make or receive calls. not data or as much as I'm aware of i know its probably just voice coverage though. its like your wireless router therefore why you would need an Internet provider. it doesn't transmit radiation so don't worry.

Please don't use that term with respect to a cell phone ever again.

Cell phones don't produce toxic ionizing radiation. They produce Radio Frequency Emissions.

Emission =/= Nuclear Radiation
